One should be fortunate enough to roam free in the mausoleum of the restaurant space. Composed of two floors, the terrace offers a second to none view of the oceanic waves.

The buffet has a BBQ option on every Saturday for the whole family to enjoy. The management also does occasional special events like seafood night theme dinner. Al Khiran buffet is an international buffet featuring several food items like a grill, roasts, sushi, curries, salads, Arabic foods, and some other international signatures like pasta and pizza. With all these, the staff service is also rated as top quality by its visitors. Although it is known for its signature buffet, one will rather be tempted by the gastronomic flavors offered by its ala carte menu.

The optimum meal starter we recommend is the magnificent Burrata, rich with tender heirloom tomatoes, burrata, and fragrant basil pesto. The mixture will arouse all the sleeping taste buds in your mouth and prepare you for a heavenly meal. If you ask us, what might be the perfect soup to go with the appetizer, we all could agree that the chef’s daily creation would be a perfect choice. We will never know what comes to the table, but you have to be cautious that curiosity might kill you.

The best dish we like at the Al Khiran is the Omani Mixed Grill. Grilled beef mashakik, locally prepared lamb kofta, lamb chops, and chicken mashakik with the colorful saffron rice is the perfect combination of mouth watering the main course. The Australian Dry Aged Beef Tenderloin was a great complementary dish to the grill. The rich fragrance coupled with the brilliant food art will truly amaze you as it did with us.

Not only the oriental meals, Al Khiran offers a range of international dishes like a variety of Pizzas with Buffalo Mozzarella, Italian Fettuccini as well as traditional Biriyani from the Indian sub-continent.
We never forgot to entertain the astonishing flavours of the traditional Umm Ali, served with puff pastry, mix nuts and cream.
The only downside to the restaurant is that you have to keep its cultural honours abreast. You have to wear nice clothing. They have a strict policy against some wears like flip-flops, sleeveless tops and certain athletic apparel. And they also have this special likeness to the Omani traditional attire.
